It's no fun living a toxic life, although it can make for the most interesting reading. Writing a memoir was a cathartic act, but also a triumphant one: I could never have written it if my life had continued down the path it was going, stifled not only by a narcissist but by the crippling limitations of my own out-of-control thinking and emotions. I have gotten better, and am getting better, all the time. I hope you will share that journey with me.
